HENRY COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Henry County police were involved in a pursuit with a burglary suspect along Millers Mill Road around 11:30 a.m.

The pursuit started on foot and turned into a car chase that ended off Hwy 138 near Flippen Road.

The suspect crashed a stolen car used in the chase, according to Sergeant Joey Smith with the Henry County Police Department.  Several people were nearby and witnessed the end of the chase, and the subsequent arrest.

"I saw the guy get out the car, and I see (the police officer) jump down on the road and taze him," said Belinda Funez.  "(The suspect) didn't have a chance to put up much of a fight, he was taken down pretty quickly."

The suspect is connected with several burglaries in the Henry County area, said Smith, who added that the officer involved in the arrest sustained a minor injury.  He was treated and returned to duty.
