LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A high school student who suffered a brain injury during a football game two weeks ago is out of the hospital and back home.

Jacob Quaife suffered a series of hits in Waggener's game against Moore High School on September 13 to which doctors attribute his brain injury. As a result, he underwent brain surgery at Kosair Children's Hospital.
