Man facing murder charge after overnight shooting

SOUTH TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A man arrested in connection with a South Tucson shooting Wednesday night has been charged with murder.

South Tucson Police arrested Zoran Medic, 22, after a shooting at the McDonald's located at 1901 S. 6th Avenue. 

Francisco Gonzalez-Alvarez, 35, was shot in the incident at about 10:30 p.m. and pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to a news release from the South Tucson Police Department, Medic and Gonzalez-Alvarez got into a confrontation after a minor collision in the drive-thru.
