A Chicago woman is suing, claiming a police officer seriously injured her after a DUI arrest last March.

The alleged incident was recorded on jail video cameras in the village of Skokie.

According to the Chicago Tribune, 47-year-old Cassandra Feuerstein says some of the bones in her face were shattered after being shoved headfirst into a jail cell.

In the video, you can see her head hit the edge of a concrete bench, and then she slumps over on the ground.

The video also shows other officers and paramedics come into the cell and clean up her face with what looks like toilet paper.

The Chicago Tribune reports Feuerstein has filed a federal lawsuit against the village of Skokie and the officer who allegedly shoved her.

The suit claims her injuries required facial reconstructive surgery.

It also alleges the officer made false statements and the police department filed a false report on the incident.

The lawsuit seeks an unspecified amount of damages.
