FAYETTEVILLE, GA (CBS46) -

The third suspect wanted in connection with a Fayetteville robbery has been found dead, according to the U.S. Marshals.

Police said Leandro Bernard Johnson, 27, of Ellenwood, committed suicide Tuesday morning.  Marshals received a tip Johnson was staying in a Covington apartment, and said they found him inside a closet with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Fayetteville police previously arrested another suspect connected to the same robbery on October 11, and found the body of another.

Police arrested Alvin James Scott, 26, of Jonesboro at his house thanks to a tip.  Scott then led authorities to the body of Alonzo Starks, 25, of Morrow, who was found dead in an abandoned home in Morrow.

All three men entered the China Cafe on Glyn Street and held three workers at gunpoint, according to police.

One of the employees pulled a handgun and shot one of the suspects hitting him at least once in the head. The second suspect fired his weapon and shot one of the workers.

All three men fled the scene. The injured employee was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
