The cause of an apartment fire in Norcross remains under investigation.
Smoke and flames started around 4:30 a.m. at the complex on Wintergreen Drive.
A witness said she saw fire shooting from the back of the town homes.
"You see that hole in the wall and that siding that melted away - that was flames coming up through there - and we could see flames and smoke all back through there, which is scary to see at 4:30 in the morning," said Betty Hovis, who lives across the street from where the fire started.
No injuries were reported, but the Red Cross is assisting families affected by the fire.
Four of the six units at the complex experienced serious damage.
