SMYRNA, GA (CBS46) -

Police are releasing new details about a triple homicide case out of Snellville.

Robert Bell, 33, has been on the run from police since Sept. 13, 2013, according to reports.

Angelina Benton, 34, her son, Joseph McDonald, 12, and 19-year-old family friend Raynard Daniel were killed during the shooting rampage.

Justin Cato, 23, who is Benton's boyfriend, survived the shooting.

Detectives still do not know Bell's motive.

Investigators said Benton allowed Bell and his wife to move into their home because they had nowhere to live.

On the night of the shooting, a pickup truck was stolen half a mile from Benton's home.

On Oct. 2, 2013, the vehicle was recovered in New Orleans. Detectives think Bell may have taken the car.
