Four Metro Atlanta men pleaded guilty Wednesday to killing a one-time Marine back in March 2012.

Sean Dgen Hall, 40, of Mableton; Jason Scott Hill, 36, of Woodstock; Tarell Winston Secrest, 37, of Marietta; and Arthur Lynell Batchelor, 38, of Acworth all pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and aggravated battery, according to the Cobb County District Attorney.

Cobb County Superior Court Judge A. Gregory Poole sentenced each man to 30 years, with 20 years to serve in prison.

"I'm not going to lecture you," Judge Poole said. "I don't know how to tell somebody not to kill their friends, or beat them up and leave them for dead. You've received your sentence. You've got the next 30 years to think about it."

The four men killed Zachary Gamble, 34, of Acworth outside of a party in Smyrna.

According to Deputy Chief Assistant Attorney Michael Carlson, evidence prepared for trial would have shown that the defendants used their hands, fists and feet to beat and stomp Gamble on his head.

Gamble died due to his injuries on April 8, 2012.
