Former Georgia Tech athletic director Dan Radakovich has been named to the college football championship series selection committee.
Radakovich, along with 12 others, will select the four teams that will compete for college football's national championship in the new format that begins next season.
The Chick-Fil-A Bowl is one of six locations that will host games, including one of the national semi-final games following the 2016 season.
The 12 other members of the selection committee are listed below:
Jeff Long, Arkansas A.D. (Chair) Pat Haden, USC A.D. Archie Manning, former college and NFL QB Oliver Luck, West Virginia A.D. Tom Osborne, former Nebraska coach and A.D. Barry Alvarez, Wisconsin A.D. Tyrone Willingham, former Notre Dame and Stanford coach Condoleezza Rice, former Secretary of State Mike Gould, former superintendent of U.S. Air Force Academy Tom Jernstedt, former NCAA executive Mike Tranghese, former Big East commissioner Steve Wieberg, former USA Today writer
Radakovich is currently the athletics director at Clemson.
