Delta Air Line's website went down twice Thursday.
The Atlanta-based comp nay sent out a tweet around 6 p.m. that read:
Sorry, but @Delta website, mobile apps impacted again. Our tech teams are working on it. Check-in at airport kiosks. Tks for your patience.
When clicking on Delta.com, an error message appeared.
The late evening website error was the second of the day. Earlier Thursday, the airline experienced problems for about four hours.
Paul Skrbec of Delta acknowledged the original problems Thursday in a statement:
"Delta apps and delta.com are operating normally after overnight maintenance caused performance issues for approximately four hours today. We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers. No flight delays were reported as a result of this issue and customers were able to check in using airport self-service kiosks throughout the entire event and book with directly with Delta Reservations."
