Three dead in Cobb County crash

Posted: Updated:
COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Cobb County police said alcohol was not a factor in an accident that claimed three lives along an Austell road early Sunday morning.

Police said Michael Haynes, 20, of Austell, was speeding on Clay Road when he hit a sharp curve, lost control of his car and slammed into a tree.

Haynes and two passengers, Jacolby D. Lowe, 24, and Jerod A. Lowe, 21, both of Marietta, were all killed in the crash.
