Teen arrested in NE Atlanta carjacking

ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Police arrested a 17-year-old in connection to a carjacking in the 302 block of Ninth Street in northeast Atlanta.

Nyquarious Edwards robbed the victim and fled the scene in the victim's car, according to Atlanta police.

The incident was captured on surveillance video. Investigators were able to identify the suspect and issued warrants for his arrest.

On Monday, Edwards was arrested in Stone Mountain by U.S. Marshals.

He is charged with two counts of armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and other charges.
