ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Georgia State University police have three men in custody after four Georgia State University students were robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night.

The students responded to a knock at their dorm room door at The Commons and were greeted aggressively by three men, two of whom, police said, were armed.

Police arrested Quinton Arnold, 18, Dantevious D. Patrick, 18, and Dorian D. Stroud, 17.

Investigators said the men stole an iPad and cellphones.

Arnold and Patrick both attend GSU. Arnold, who lives in The Commons, signed the other two suspects into the lobby, according to police.

One of the victims recognized Arnold in the surveillance video and texted him to meet him outside. Police arrested Arnold Wednesday night.

Patrick turned himself into Atlanta police after seeing himself on the news.

Stroud's mother saw his photo on the news and called APD, who in turn called GSU. Stroud turned himself in Thursday morning.

One student was confident the group would quickly be arrested.

"It's crazy and I think it's incredibly dumb of the people who did. Especially with the amount of cameras we have around here. It's just a matter of time before they are caught. They honestly should pack up and run as far as they can," said Jonathan Robins.

GSU police want you to call them at (404) 413-3211 if you have any details about the robbery.
