A man has been captured in connection with the robbery of a Cobb County store.
The Cobb County Department of Public Safety say they arrested Matthew Bruce Jones, 28, of Marietta Wednesday in East Cobb County without incident.
Police say they believe Jones robbed a liquor store in Marietta with a gun on Oct. 19. According to authorities, Jones opened the cash registers inside the store, then fled on foot with the cash drawers from the registers.
Police also believe Jones robbed a Subway restaurant last Tuesday in Marietta.
Jones is being charged with 2 counts of armed robbery, and is being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
