Police identify shooter at Cobb Co. Waffle House

KENNESAW, GA (CBS46) -

Police identified the man they say shot at a Waffle House in Cobb County early Friday morning.

According to Cobb County, Bryan Elien, 21, of Marietta was the man who opened fire and remains at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.

Police detained four men who they believed was involved in the shooting that happened at the Waffle House on Cobb Parkway.

Investigators told CBS Atlanta the shooting was the result an argument between patrons inside the popular restaurant.

Detectives don't know what led to the violence but said one of the four men who were detained at some point after the altercation pulled out a gun in the parking lot and fired shots.

Investigators said at least one struck the store, shattering the front door glass.
