Arctic air has invaded Metro Atlanta. Welcome to fall...or winter.
Interestingly, it appears Atlanta will hit freezing on the exact date the city typically has its first freeze each year!
The good folks at the National Weather Service in Peachtree City -- who issue weather alerts for Atlanta -- were kind enough to provide some stats on when Atlanta typically sees its first freeze vs. the earliest and latest dates.
As a reminder, we say it's "freezing" when temperatures hit 32 degrees or colder.
