Posted: Updated:

Clayton County police released a sketch of a suspect in a deadly home invasion.

Police said the suspect may be a teenager between 16 to 20 years old. Investigators said the suspect knocked on the front door of a home in the 8200 block of Queens Drive in Jonesboro on Oct. 19.

The homeowner did not know the suspects and closed the door. Another suspect shot through the door, hitting the victim in the face.

The man in the sketch and two other suspects entered the home and shot and killed one man inside. The surviving victim gave police a description of one of the suspects but could not identify the other two. The suspect in the sketch is described as having a dark complexion, 5'6" to 5'8" tall with a small frame.

If you have any information that can help police, call Detective Simonds at 678-610-4785.
