Global Winter Wonderland, the world's largest-ever lantern festival, will make its Atlanta debut Thursday, featuring giant illuminated lanterns that resemble some of the world's greatest architectural achievements.
The lanterns include recreations of the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, the White House and the Golden Gate Bridge.
The event, which runs until Jan. 5, also features more than 20 carnival rides and games, international cuisine, arts and crafts, live entertainment and celebrations of holiday traditions and cultures from around the world.
Tickets for Global Winter Wonderland are $24.99 for adults, $18.99 for senior citizens and $16.99 for children. Ticket prices include carnival rides, live entertainment and UniverSoul Circus. Children ages four and under are admitted free.
