Can you afford Jay Z's collection with Barneys? Maybe. But even if you could, would you spend $995 on a T-shirt?
The Jay Z collection, "A New York Holiday," launched Thursday and people are talking more about the prices than the style.
The products range from a $70 T-shirt, the cheapest item in the line, to a $58,000 jacket.
Jay Z announced he would move forward with the planned collaboration despite recent allegations of racial profiling at the luxury store, an ongoing investigation into the claims and public pressure that he back out of the deal.
The items are so luxurious, the fine print on each item reads, "Due to the exclusivity of these limited edition items, all sales are final. No returns or exchanges."
