Ashland pharmacy robbed at gunpoint

ASHLAND, VA (WWBT) -

Ashland Police said a man displayed a semi-automatic handgun while robbing a pharmacy Sunday afternoon.

According to the Ashland Police Department, at 1:20 p.m. officers responded to the CVS in the 100 block of Junction Drive for a report of a robbery.

Investigators said the suspect displayed a gun, then demanded an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5' 9", and weighing between 135 and 150 lbs. We're told the suspect also has a sleeve tattoo on his left arm, appears to be in his 30's, with blonde hair, a mustache, and was unshaven. He was last seen wearing a dark green sweatshirt and blue jeans.
