Former UGA employee charged with sexual exploitation of a child

ATHENS, GA (CBS46) -

A University of Georgia employee was arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of a child.

Athens-Clarke County police and the University of Georgia Police Department executed a search warrant Tuesday morning at a home on Wendy Lane.

Computers and cell phones were seized and analyzed.

As a result of the investigation, Jeffrey Wall Delk, 51, was arrested and charged with 43 counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Additional charges are possible.

Delk is no longer employed at UGA. He was assistant director of development for gift and estate planning at UGA.
