Atlanta has coldest Thanksgiving in over 100 years

Atlanta saw its coldest Thanksgiving in over 100 years.

The low temperature Thursday morning dropped to 22 degrees at 7:34 a.m., making it the coldest Thanksgiving since 1911 when it was 21 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

Thursday's low was 1-degree shy of a record for Nov. 28 of 20 degrees and 19 degrees below the normal of 41.
