ORLANDO, FL (WFLA) - An uninvited guest caused quite a scare at an Orlando toddler's recent birthday party.

The party was in full swing and kids were playing in a bouncy house when the black bear wandered into the back yard, knocked over a fence and climbed a tree.

Journalists with Orlando TV station WKMG were at the home when Florida Fish and Wildlife Agents shot the bear with a tranquilizer gun and took him away.

The accompanying WKMG photos show how the drama unfolded.

"We kept the kids away because they don't know about the dangers with the bears," said Yvette Picasso, who was at the party.

Neighbors say they saw the bear earlier in the week. "The bear was leaning over my fence looking into my yard, he was eating acorns," said Trish Hamley.

The bear was relocated to the Ocala National Forest.

No one was hurt.

A story about the bear was also broadcast on CNN.
