Usher's stepson honored with 5K race at Chastain Park

Kile Glover, the stepson of R&B singer Usher, was honored Saturday morning with a 5K race in his name. Proceeds from the race go to support Kile's World, a charity started by his mother Tameka Foster to help underpriveleged kids get better access to the arts.

Kile was 11 years old when he was killed in a boating accident on Lake Lanier in July 2012. His mother said Kile loved music, and loved to perform.

"Kile was an avid artist, he loved to draw and paint, sing, and he did song-writing, and acting," said Foster. She said she was thrilled with the turnout for the race, and plans to bring it back again next year.

"I just love it," said Foster. "I'm overwhelmed right now."
