MECHANICSVILLE, VA (WWBT) -

Plans to bring a movie theater to Hanover County appeared to have stalled for now.

The Board of Supervisors will not be voting on a Mechanicsville theater next week at its meeting.

The proposal has now been withdrawn, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch

Developers want to build the theater in the Hanover Village Shopping Center, near Lee Davis High School. Some neighbors have concerns about the impact on traffic.

A vote on the topic has already been delayed several times.
