Arabia Mountain, Murphey Candler students moved after accident

ATLANTA, GA (CBS46) -

School officials are moving students from two DeKalb County schools after a vehicle accident on Klondike Road caused low water pressure in the buildings.

Students at Arabia Mountain High School and Murphey Candler Elementary School will be transported to other schools by bus at 11:30 a.m. Students will be returned to their respective schools beginning at 1:15pm-1:30pm for normal dismissal. Parents should pick up students at their regular school.

Ninth and 10th grade students are being moved to Miller Grove High School. Students who are in the 11th and 12th grades are being moved to Lithonia High School.

All Murphey Candler students are being transported to Salem Middle School.

Parents are being notified. DeKalb County Police have also been notified.

There are approximately 1,300 students at Arabia Mountain High School and 600 students at Murphey Candler Elementary School.
