UNION CITY, GA (CBS46) -

Union City police continue to search for a woman who stole an officer's patrol car while handcuffed.

Officers arrested Jenny Faith Clementi, 28, on financial transaction card fraud outside the Walmart on Jonesboro Road Tuesday morning. Once officers placed the handcuffed Clementi in the back seat of the patrol car, she repositioned her arms, bringing her hands to the front of her body.

As officers finished gathering evidence at the scene, Clementi squeezed through a passage portal in the officer's car. She slipped into the driver's seat and drove off.

Clementi headed northbound on Interstate 85. She crashed the patrol car into another vehicle then fled the scene on foot.

Police have issued warrants for Clementi's arrest. According to Fulton County jail records, this is not her first brush with the law. Clementi was arrested by Atlanta police in September and charged with criminal trespassing.

Warrants have been issued for Clementi's arrest.
