NORCROSS, GA (CBS46) -

The Coca-Cola 2013 Holiday Caravan is coming to a Metro Atlanta town near you.

Tour is comprised of five brightly decorated Coca-Cola semi-trucks that will be traversing the country during the holiday season.

The first Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan trucks rolled out across the U.S. and the world in 1997.

The Holiday Caravan makes its first stop in Alpharetta on Friday at 2 p.m.

"The whole idea is that we want to help people remind people how to celebrate the holidays and share the magic of the season," said Coca-Cola VP of Sales Dawn Kirk. "It's an opportunity for families to come out take some pictures with Santa and have a great time. We want to create memories for people."

Each truck carries a portable holiday scene, complete with decorated Christmas trees, a custom Santa throne, wooden benches, wreaths, fences, a performance stage, and of course, Coca-Cola.

The Holiday Caravan will make 286 stops all across the country.

The last day to experience the caravan is Dec. 22.
