ROMULUS, MI (AP) -

A Delta jet headed to Atlanta slid off a taxiway at Detroit Metropolitan Airport Monday morning.

No one was injured.

An airline spokesman said the plane "may have hit some black ice," before sliding from the taxiway on to a grassy area.

All 180 passengers safely got off the plane and were re-booked on a flight scheduled to take off later in the day.

Delta released a statement saying that technicians will move and inspect the plane.
