A missing 5-year-old girl and her mother were found safe Monday evening after being abducted earlier in the day.
Around 11:50 a.m., Isabel Godinez Lopez and her daughter, Yoselin Michelle Coc Godinez, were taken from their home on Clairview Drive in Chamblee.
Police said Lopez' ex-husband, Juan Luis Coc Reyes, took the pair with help from another man.
According to authorities, the mother and daughter left the boyfriend about 2 years ago in Hollywood, Florida after a history of threats and violence.
Georgia State Patrol tracked down the vehicle they were all traveling in around 5 p.m. Monday evening 13 miles north of the Florida state line on I-75.
The boyfriend and his accomplice were arrested without incident.
The mother and daughter were recovered without injury.
