Gwinnett Police have arrested a man in connection with a body that was discovered inside his home on Evergreen Eve Crossing in Dacula.

Police said they received a call just after one 1 p.m. Saturday that something suspicious was going on inside the home. When they arrived, they found a woman dead inside the garage.

Police identified the victim as Peggie Robinson, 62, from Gainesville Ga.  They arrested 35-year-old Wolf Griffin, charging him with murder and aggravated assault.

Though details were not immediately clear from investigators, a man claiming to be an acquaintance of Griffin said he'd come over at Griffin's request to help repair a car on Saturday. When he got there, Jeremiah Vantroostenbergh said he saw something he will never forget.

"I just know it was a mess," said Vantroostenbergh. "She (the victim) was dead when I got here. That's the only thing I can say is that (Griffin) did kill that poor woman. He did tell me that he did kill the woman."
