DeKalb County police searching for mentally challenged woman

LITHONIA, GA (CBS46) -

The DeKalb County Police Special Victims Unit seeks the public's assistance locating Ilonda Banks.

In a news release, investigators told CBS Atlanta that Banks went missing from her Lithonia home on Kimberland Garden Lane Saturday.

Police are very concerned because Banks has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old.

If anyone has seen Banks, or has information on her whereabouts, they are asked to contact the DeKalb County Police Special Victims Unit at 770-724-7710, or the DeKalb County police non-emergency number at 404-294-2911
