ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A man has been arrested in connection with a December 2013 shooting.

Brandon Kirkland was arrested Thursday and charged with murder in the shooting of Amin Bouchelaghem.

Bouchelaghem and two other people were shot on Lanier Street at Joseph E. Boone around 4:45 p.m. on Dec. 30.

Police were called and when officers arrived, they noticed Bouchelaghem unresponsive with head injuries, Larry Brooks with a defect to his back, and Michael McGee Jr. with injuries to his leg.

Bouchelaghem was pronounced dead at the scene, but Grady EMT took surviving injured victims to Grady Memorial Hospital for further medical treatment.

Officers said the victims were at the location to conduct a business meeting when two men approached the victims with guns drawn.

Police said Kirkland and another man fired several shots at the victims and fled the scene after the shooting.

Kirkland was taken to the Fulton County Jail.
