ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The Children's Museum of Atlanta is planning a New Year's Eve party that won't keep kids up past their bedtime.

For a third year, the museum is hosting a Noon Year's Eve Ball, allowing children to celebrate 12 hours earlier than their adult counterparts.

The party begins at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31. Children can join Princess Tiana and Prince Charming for cotillion dancing and other festivities. After the official countdown to the "noon year," guests can join a grand ballroom procession throughout the museum.

The Children's Museum of Atlanta is located at 275 Centennial Olympic Park Drive in northwest Atlanta.
