The winter storm that's bearing down on the northeastern United States is causing some passengers to find themselves stranded in Atlanta.
Airlines are canceling flights to and from cities like Chicago, New York and Newark, NJ.
Bob Bertsch just spent a week on vacation in the Caribbean. Now, he can't seem to get back to Chicago. His Wednesday night flight was canceled, so he ended up in a hotel in Atlanta without his luggage.
"I spent the night in these clothes," said Bertsch. "Fortunately, you can't smell me through the camera."
Laura Vandersteen traveled with Bertsch, along with her teenage son.
"I want to get home," she said.
"It's just the way it is," said Bertsch. "You can kind of expect snow in Chicago, but I think there's a little bit more to it behind the scenes with the airlines, but who knows?"
