Cherokee Co. residents react to cold, cold weather

Posted: Updated:
CANTON, GA (CBS46) -

By 7:40 p.m. it was already 27 degrees in Canton, and that was not including the wind chill.

Joey Williams spent most of the night outside as he worked at a local grocery store. "I am very cold right now," said Williams.

He said he had four layers of clothing on to stay warm. But, he could only feel his toes a "little bit."

One resident offered his solution to staying warm. "In and out of the car real quick. It's cold, very cold and the wind is very cold."

Flurries did fall from 9:30 p.m. until 10 p.m., but there was no accumulation.
