If you've been outside, you know how biting the wind has been. Winds took down trees Friday in Lithonia, Stone Mountain, Lawrenceville and Atlanta.
The tree that came down in Lawrenceville fell on a car. One person was taken to the hospital.
Trees fell on homes on Vineyard Circle in Stone Mountain and on Rock Springs Road in Lithonia. No one was injured.
A tree came down on Oak Drive in southeast Atlanta and took the power lines with it.
One person who lives in the area was happy to see Georgia Power crews.
"I was in my living room and a couple seconds after that, the lights went off. They've probably been off 10 plus hours right now and it's kind of cold in the house, it's kinda cold out here. Georgia Power looking good, trying to get us back together," said Renaldo Burns.
Georgia Power tweeted that the majority of trees that fell in Georgia were in Fulton County and Chatham County, which includes Savannah.
