A 15-year-old Douglas County girl accused two men of raping her at a recent party, but police later questioned the credibility of her story.
The party occurred at a home in Douglasville on Dec. 29. The owner of the home said the girl willingly participated in sex acts.
"She was having fun," Oqueshia Andrews told CBS Atlanta. "She was out of control. The young lady was downstairs in the bathroom locked with four or five young guys and they're all being charged for rape for no reason," said Andrews.
Police said cell phone video taken at the party confirmed the teen was not forced to have sex.
"Evidence indicated that she was a willing participant, even though she had claimed that she wasn't," said Detective Clint Ratliff of Douglas County's Major Crimes Unit.
However, police said the girl is underage so two men are facing charges of child molestation.
Authorities arrested Falonzo Smith, 18, and Devontae Barnes, 17.
Police said the party was promoted on social media sites, including Instagram and Kik. According to investigators, the 15-year-old texted the men before the party and agreed to have sex.
"By a parent monitoring these apps and what their children are doing, it would alleviate situations like this that have gotten way out of control," said Ratliff.
