POOLER, GA (AP) -

A representative of a nonprofit organization dedicated to locating lost or stolen military medals will be traveling to Georgia next week for a special presentation at the National Museum of the Mighty Eight Air Force in Pooler.

Zachariah Fike with Purple Hearts Reunited will be giving the museum a Purple Heart belonging to 2nd Lt. Glenn Morris who died during World War II.

The group says there are no direct living descendants of the Morris family, which hailed from Black Hawk County, Iowa, and the medal will be kept at the museum.

Morris was a bombardier-navigator of a B-24 Bomber killed on March 22, 1944. He was a member of the 466th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.
