ROSWELL, GA (CBS46) -

The Roswell police Department is asking for help in identifying a suspect involved in several armed robbery cases around metro Atlanta.

Wednesday, a Shell Gas Station on Windy Hill Road in Marietta was robbed.

According to investigators, the man entered the gas station and walked about the store picking up various items to purchase. As he made the small purchase at the counter and the cash register opened, he pulled out a gun and demanded the cash from the register.

The man then left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and the other items and got into a black vehicle, possibly a Toyota with a spoiler on the back of it, and was last seen heading towards Interstate 75.

According to police, he is the same man who robbed CVS on Woodstock Road in Roswell on Jan. 5.

Police said in the CVS robbery, the man entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes from the cashier while pointing a gun at her.

The man left the area in a green or blue older model hatchback vehicle with a female passenger.

The man is described as being in his mid-20s, 5'7"-5'9," 150 to 170 pounds, with short brown hair.

If you have any information about the case, please contact Roswell Police Detective M. Larkins at 770-640-4448.
