Henrico Police investigating early morning beating in Lakeside

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) -

Henrico police are looking into reports of a beating in the Lakeside neighborhood.

Police say around 2 a.m. Sunday a victim showed up at the Henrico Doctors' Hospital Parham Campus claiming he had been beaten. They say the victim was at a friends' home in the 2200 block of Kenwood Avenue when two men and a woman arrived. Officers say there was an argument over money. When the victim tried to call police, one of the suspects snatched his phone out of his hand and started beating him. They say the two other suspects also assaulted the victim who was able to get away.

The victim was taken to the hospital by his friends. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. The suspects are described as follows:

#1: Black male, around 5'9", about 215 pounds, with a goatee.

#2: Black male, around 5'8", about 190 pounds, wearing a black hat and jacket.

#3: Black female, between 5'4" and 5'5", 110-115 pounds, wearing all black.
