A former NBA player and Georgia Tech basketball star is in Fulton County Jail on drug charges.

More than a dozen people, including Crittenton, were arrested early Wednesday morning in a drug trafficking sting throughout metro Atlanta.

According to the investigation, the defendants are alleged to have been a part of a drug trafficking organization centered in metro Atlanta.

Crittenton and the other suspects are accused of selling multi-kilo quantities of cocaine and several hundred pounds of marijuana during the seven month investigation dating back to June 2012.

Charged along with Crittenton are:

  • Courtney Cain, 28
  • Lanier Clark, 32
  • Marcado Curry, 36
  • McKinnley Denson, 33
  • Ludie Jackson, 44
  • Cindy McQueary, 44
  • Shenekea Smith, 33

Crittenton was arrested by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office on two felony charges of conspiracy to violate the Georgia Controlled Substance Act.

Crittenton is still facing murder charges in the shooting death of an Atlanta woman in 2011. A trial date for that case has not yet been set.
