A possible hostage situation and shooting in Johns Creek has been ruled a hoax.
Police said a man called 911 reporting he shot two people and was holding a woman hostage at a home in County Club of the South.
Police didn't find any victims and do not know who placed the call.
A woman was seen leaving the house with two children under her arms. She was unaware of the situation until police showed up at the home.
