Suspended DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis has been indicted on 14 additional charges.
This comes a day after Ellis released a video on YouTube proclaiming his innocence.
Ellis is accused of extorting campaign contributions from companies that did business in DeKalb County.
The new charges include perjury, bribery and extortion.
He said the charges are politically motivated and emotionally scarring.
"The trauma of that event lingers to this day. The D.A. went through my closets, my wife's personal items, my kids toy bins, and even my trash, and found nothing illegal or improper because I have done absolutely nothing wrong," said Ellis in the nearly three minute video.
Ellis was indicted on 15 counts by a grand jury in June of last year.
After the indictment, Gov. Nathan Deal suspended him from office.
