A Sandy Springs man has been arrested again, this time on charges of practicing medicine without a license.

Kelly Burton Thrasher, 41, was arrested on a warrant taken from the Georgia State Medical Board.

Thrasher's medical license has been suspended since he was arrested in connections with two separate incidents of sexual assault.

In Nov., 2012, Thrasher was charged with the sexual assault of a woman. Allegedly he injected the woman with a substance rendering her unconscious, and then had sex with her.

In Jan., 2013, another complaint was filed against Thrasher, this time by the father of a child who said Thrasher molested her during a sleepover at the Thrasher residence in 2012.

In late 2013, Sandy Springs Police received several calls stating Thrasher had returned to his office and having contact with patients while under orders not to do so.

On Jan. 17, an investigator with the medical board obtained a warrant for Thrasher for practicing medicine without a license. Sandy Springs detectives picked him up at his residence.

Thrasher was taken to the Fulton County Jail and is currently out on bond.
