Coast Guard searching for person who fell off Celebrity cruise ship

CLEARWATER, FL (WFLA) - A Coast Guard aircraft based in Clearwater is searching for a crew member who fell overboard the Celebrity Constellation cruise ship on Wednesday.

Missing is Inyoman Bagiada, 45, from Indonesia, according to the Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard received a report shortly after 10:30 a.m. from Celebrity Constellation about a crewmember who fell overboard at 2:27 a.m. during a cruise in the Caribbean Sea.

It happened when the cruise ship was in the vicinity of the Yucatan Channel.

The HC-130 from Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, Fla., will search alongside the Coast Guard Cutter Charles David Jr.

The Charles David Jr. is a 154-foot fast response cutter homeported in Key West, Fla.
