Man connected to November killing taken into custody

ATLANTA (CBS46) -

A man wanted in connection to a November 2013 murder has been taken into custody, according to a statement from the Atlanta Police Department.

Alonzo Ross was picked up Wednesday by the police department's fugitive unit on a murder warrant.

Ross was taken to the homicide office, charged and taken to the Fulton County Jail.

His charges stem from an incident on Nov. 2, at about 3:11 a.m. when officers responded to a report that a man was shot in chest in the 400 block of Norfolk Street NW. That man was taken to Grady Hospital but he died shortly after.

It was determined that the shooting was related to a dispute that took place earlier in the 1000 block of Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy.
