Good Samaritan victim of Richmond carjacking

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond Police are in the midst of a search to find the car police say was taken during a carjacking Sunday night.

Around 9:45 p.m. the victim was traveling in his car along the 3100 block of Hull Street, near Broad Rock Road. He pulled the vehicle over after he spotted a man stumbling along the side of the road, according to Richmond Police. The victim then asked the suspect if he was okay. The suspect then told the victim to get out of his car. The victim claimed he spotted what he thought looked liked a weapon, and complied. He was not hurt.

Police are right now looking for a 2006 burgundy Ford vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
