ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Police are searching for a man who robbed a southwest Atlanta bank Monday.

According to Atlanta police, the man walked into the Wells Fargo at 2280 Cascade Road around 10 a.m.

Authorities say the man handed a note to the teller demanding $100 bills with a note that read "don't make me hurt you."

Police say after the teller only gave fives and tens, the angered man grabbed the teller, held a knife to her side and threatened to kill her if he weren't given the proper denominations.

According to authorities, the teller complied and no one was injured.

The man, described as 5'8" to 5'9" tall, weighing 140 to 170 pounds, left the bank on foot.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
