ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Normally, yelling and shouting wouldn't be appropriate in a museum setting, but at The Children's Museum of Atlanta, grownups are actually encouraging kids to make some noise.

The new Sonic Sensation exhibit is on display at the downtown museum through June 1.

It's described as a multi-sensory adventure that teaches children the anatomy, measurement and science of sound.

The exhibit features a variety of interactive, hands-on activities for children to see, feel and hear. Visitors can experiment with pitch, test their listening skills and even make a movie soundtrack.

Sonic Sensation was featured Thursday at 9 a.m. on CBS46's Better Mornings Atlanta.
